1. Sprite sheet — visually select frames

Select Draw frame, then drag a rectangle around a pose. Select Move frame, then drag inside the yellow box to reposition it. With neither tool active, drag a white corner handle to resize.

2. Animation sequence and preview

Each shot stores its own frame box. You can use different frame sizes and repeat any pose multiple times.

Selected shot timing

Leave Custom hold blank to use global FPS. Use a custom hold only when a particular shot should linger longer or shorter.

Animated GIF export

GIF uses one fixed canvas for every shot. Automatic size uses the largest selected frame. Center is best for most actions; Bottom-center is often better for walking or running sprites.

Add timeline shots to enable GIF export.

GIF guidance: GIF is convenient for sharing and embedding, but it is limited to a 256-color palette. It works especially well for crisp, pixel-art-like sprites. Keep the JSON too—it remains the editable animation recipe for future changes.
